CERT Weekend Academy
Weekend-Only EMT Training | National Registry EMT Certification | 8-Week Format
The CERT Weekend Academy is a focused, hands-on EMT training program designed for students balancing full-time work, academic schedules, or other weekday commitments. Over the course of 8 weekends, students engage in real-world emergency medical instruction without sacrificing flexibility or instructional quality.
Class Schedule:
Saturdays & Sundays
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Held in person at our Fairfax training center, this program combines high-fidelity simulation, interactive labs, and professional mentorship to prepare students for real emergency medical service roles.
Upon successful completion, students will be eligible for certification as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT)—a key credential for entering EMS or building a foundation for further healthcare education.
CERT Clinical Fellowship (Optional Add-On)
The CERT Clinical Fellowship is an advanced professional development track available to select EMT students seeking deeper exposure to real patient care environments.
Fellows have access to up to 120 hours of clinical rotations, providing firsthand experience in emergency medicine and healthcare teamwork while working alongside experienced providers.
Admission to the Fellowship is highly selective and requires a pre-screening interview. Only a limited number of students are accepted into each academy.
Fellowship Fee: $2,000
Students who are not accepted into the Fellowship will receive a full refund of the Fellowship fee. Students who are removed from the program for failure to meet professional or performance standards are not eligible for refunds.
